Linus Gisslén

Linus Gisslén is team lead for the Intelligent Agent reseach vector that applies state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to game AI and game testing. His research interest is mainly in the application of ML in games, which includes self-learning agents, procedural content generation, and language models. SEED is an advanced R&D group at Electronic Arts (EA) whose purpose is to push the boundaries of game experiences and to drive innovation in how games are created and played in the future.

Jacob Danell

Jacob Danell is an award-winning Swedish expert in visual effects and the CEO of Ember Light. In January 2025, he won a Guldbagge Award for Best Visual Effects for the film Den svenska torpeden.

Katja de Vries is an associate professor in public law at Uppsala University. Her current research focuses on the challenges that AI-generated content poses to data protection, intellectual property and other fields of law.

Carter Emmart

Carter Emmart is the former Director of Astrovisualization at the American Museum of Natural History in New York and a Wallenberg Guest Professor in Visual Science Communication at Linköping University and the director of the upcoming dome show Once Upon the Moon. With unique data and visual content he brings us back to the Apollo missions and reflections on where we are heading in upcoming space missions.

Anders Ynnerman

Anders Ynnerman is a Professor of scientific visualization at Linköping University and the founder behind Visualization Center C. With extensive experience building large-scale research infrastructures and cross-sector partnerships, he has been instrumental in advancing Sweden’s capacity in visualization, AI, and immersive technologies. At Next Gen Media, he brings an industry-oriented perspective on how strategic collaboration between academia, industry, and public actors is key to accelerating AI adoption, strengthening creative and technological ecosystems, and securing Sweden’s position as a global leader in next-generation media and innovation.

Jonas Unger is a Professor of Visual Computing at Linköping University, specializing in rendering, image synthesis, and data-driven graphics. His research connects advanced algorithms and machine learning with real-world applications in film, games, and digital media production.
